Web Hosting Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions and our General Terms and Conditions are accepted when accepting the Terms of Service option during checkout for any of our web hosting plans. These Terms and Conditions will commence on the date of your accepted order and will continue to take effect until you decide to cancel your plan, or until your accounts termination as detailed in our General Terms and Conditions.

Our Responsibilities

The Simple Host is responsible for:

  • Providing the selected web hosting plan to you in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions and the information provided on our Web Hosting page.
  • Providing you with information, advice and support in connection with your web hosting plan.
  • Informing you with a minimum of 10 days’ notice prior to any scheduled maintenance that may affect your web hosting plan.
  • Ensuring web servers and software running your web hosting plan are secured and regularly updated.
  • Maintaining the speed and efficiency of the web server hosting your web hosting plan is on.
Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Complying with any and all General Terms and Conditions which The Simple Host may apply to web hosting plans.
  • Providing The Simple Host with the correct information relevant to connection with web hosting plans.
  • Configuring the provided backup solutions to protect your data in the event of accident or disaster.
  • Informing The Simple Host of any technical problems that may occur by submitting a support ticket from within your Client Area.
  • Ensuring fair use of web hosting plans by keeping storage space cleared of clutter and unnecessary files.
  • Performing updates and patches to any and all applications which have been installed on your web hosting plan.
  • Any and all unreasonable or illegal activities which occur on your web hosting account.
Beyond Our Control

The Simple Host is not responsible for:

  • Any DDoS attacks, malicious malware or viruses that may affect our web servers or your web hosting plan.
  • Third-party service or software outages which may affect some of the features on your web hosting account.
  • Providing support for services, software and applications which are not affiliated with our web hosting plans.
